Okay, I'm addicted to this world despite all the repetition in the writing and overuse of phrases. I think part of it is the actually interesting world-building that's going on. A lot of paranormal romance doesn't bother much with that. It's ALL about the romance/sex and the surrounding myths and supporting rules of the world are skimmed over. This is heavily skewed toward the romance, but there is also world building as well.The Grand Grimoire is said to be one of the most powerful and also one of the evilest books ever written. Also known as The Red Dragon, many speculate as to who actually authored such a dark book. Whoever wrote it must have had extensive knowledge on the work of King Solomon; many grimoires appear to have spells or rituals used by the King himself. This book is distinctively different, in that many rumors surround it. Supposedly, the Vatican is the only place to have the original copy. Gregori would just put Savannah into a deep sleep whenever she refused to do his bidding. I found this very disrespectful and annoying at first. Then it just became comical that the hero would be so arrogant and dismissive of his life mate.

I could never look at you again."-Savannah If a boss reaches the second phase and then is fully healed by the Dark Mage, the boss will still maintain its current phase (with an exception like Santa-NK1, Plantera, and Queen Slime as it will convert into the first form after fully healed). Gregori “The Dark One” is the healer of his people, and second in command to the prince, who also happens to be his best friend. Gregori has defended his people and protected them and killed vampires left and right. He has studied and learned everything he can to be the most knowledgable and cunning. He has few friends, many enemies, and has searched for his lifemate for centuries. When Mikhail and Raven conceived a girl, he knew she was his lifemate, and he must stay strong for her. She is his only hope. Gregori can be a hard hero to like. He is very rough around the edges, believes women should be protected in a cacoon and away from any and all danger. He is very “alpha male” and he is possessive. But Gregori is also very easy to connect with. As soon as you see the real Gregori, who has lived a life of killing and darkness, we see a man that only wants to be loved and needed.
